While we do not manufacture the products ourselves, we work with trusted suppliers who may offer warranty coverage for their items. The details below outline our warranty practices and what you can expect after your purchase.


Limited Warranty Coverage

Manufacturer Warranty

Basswood Lane is a curated marketplace. As such, most products are covered by warranties provided by the manufacturer or brand, not by Basswood Lane directly. These warranties vary by product and brand and are passed through to the customer upon purchase.

  • Coverage typically includes defects in materials or workmanship under normal use.
  • Length of coverage and terms depend on the manufacturer’s specific policy.
  • For warranty claims beyond 30 days, we will assist in connecting you with the product’s manufacturer whenever possible.

You may be asked to provide:

  • A valid proof of purchase
  • Product SKU or model number
  • Photographs and a description of the issue

Basswood Lane 30-Day Warranty Window

For all purchases made through Basswood Lane, we offer a 30-day limited warranty that runs concurrently with our Return Policy. This covers:

  • Items that arrive damaged or defective
  • Items that become non-functional within 30 days under normal residential use

To qualify:

  • The item must be unused, unmodified, and installed according to manufacturer instructions.
  • You must submit a claim within 30 days of delivery to claims@basswoodlane.com, including your order number, photos, and a description of the issue.

If the product issue is the result of misuse, improper installation, or wear and tear, it will not be covered under this policy.


Restocking Fee Policy

Returns that are accepted but not received in their original, unused condition may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 15% of the purchase price. This fee does not include return shipping costs, which remain the customer’s responsibility. To avoid deductions, please ensure all items are returned in their original packaging with all components included.
